Hi,

I would like to open one Excel document which in Excel (my friend created it) opens in seconds, but in LibreOffice never really finish opening it in the status bar there is info "Calculating..." and 100% CPU is taken. It looks LibreOffice has frozen or something.

Is there any why I can open document without auto-calculation of document?

Regards

Have you tried Tools> Cell

Have you tried Tools> Cell contents> AutoCalculate and uncheck the box?

I have checked that, but it

I have checked that, but it looks like this settings is only for current document. I have also tested this and like I see it doesn't even work for current document, don't know if this is broken or something.

Today I have installed

Today I have installed LibreOffice 3.4.2 (so I have the latest stable version installed) and problems still exists. LibreOffice becomes totally useless to open this Excel document. This is the first document I can't even open in LibreOffice Calc.

Any other idea how to open Excel file without having calculation turned on? I am 100% sure Sheet1 has the data I need and all other sheets have calculations or graphs displayed. Is there a way to only open first sheet instead of whole document?
