I am new to LO and like it very much, but how can I find and replace several consecutive paragraph breaks in the footnotes? They are regular new line breaks, produced with the Enter key. Not sure how they got there in the first place, but every single footnote suddenly ends with five line breaks instead of just one! I have tried with Reg Expressions like \n, \r, \r\n (NoteTab style), ^ and $, and also copying and pasting the breaks into the search field, but nothing works. I cannot use the default style in the notes and use Auto-correct, as I read somewhere... Thanks for any hints, Gabriele

AltSearch Limitation within Notes

Thanks Robert,

it is a good extension, but it comes with one annoying limitation

"Limitation: you can only search for substrings in the contents of notes - you cannot use full regular expressions."

And not even "[::Footnote::]\p" works... Perhaps it's a bug with LO 3.4.2. Thanks anyway, cheers, Gabriele
