I installed LibreOffice 3.3 beta on my Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit system, and all is well except that I can't get the automatic spellcheck to turn on. Misspelled words are not underlined with the typical red squiggly line...

Hi there zerubbabel, you

Hi there zerubbabel, you might want to try manually installing a spellcheck dictionary from the OpenOffice extensions page. I imagine that LibreOffice isn't configured yet to use the hunspell packages on Ubuntu.

Have a good one!

Hi! I'm new in the forum I installed libreoffice 3.3.3 in windows 7 home premium 64bit and I don't get the red squiggly underlines with misspelled words either. Does anyone have a solution for this for win7. Thanks :)

auto spell check

After reading this forum, I installed

libobasis3.3-en-us-writer

on my Ubuntu 10.10 machine.

The document which was open at that time showed auto spell check (red squigly underlines).

But other documents do not show this.

Please help. Thanks

Hemant
